Hello,
After departing from Glasgow, we went up to Isle of Skye (an island off the northwest side of Scotland). We took a 6 hour bus ride to get there; it was a very scenic route though. We saw our first glimpse of Highland cows and a million waterfalls. The small mountains looked liked they had veins of waterfalls.
Then the next day in Isle of Skye we went to an area called the Old Man of Storr. It is basically this huge rock that seems to be standing up. It is as tall as 11 double-decker buses stacked on top of each other. The whole area is surrounded by jacked cliffs and old volcanic rock formations. Due to the typically Scottish weather we had to get out our the emergency ponchos to keep us from getting fully soaked. Even with the crazy weather, we had a great time wondering around the beautiful mountains for about 3-4 hours.
Yesterday we took the train to Inverness so we could fly to Southwest England today to visit, V's penpal Alice and her husband Luke. This will be our final stop before we make our way back to London.
Bye for now,
V&P

It rained with lots of wind when we were in Edinburgh, Scotland also - part of the scenery! Hopefully London will be sunny!
You're heading back to US soil soon - what a fabulous trip it's been for you, but it's always great coming home too!
Ditto - where are the pictures?
