Hello,
Today we did not have to pay to get inside the Louvre (where we spent about 7 hours), there was a strike by the ticket agents when we arrived. However, either the strike ended or other workers came because when lunch time came you needed a ticket. The museum was crazy/enormous and it is impossible to completely take it in all at once, but we did our best and covered a lot of ground.
Yesterday we spent the day at the Eiffel Tower and the Museum d`Orsay. We also tried Macaroons at Laduree (lemon and caramel apple - thanks Mara).
We have two more days in Paris. We plan on going to Luxembourg on Saturday....I guess just because it's there.
That's all for now,
V&P

I can't believe you've been there a month already. Does it seem that long to you? I would like to have the time to get lost in the Louvre, and are you bringing back some of those yummy macaroons? Miss you and look forward to the pictures. Love ya!
You guys are guilting me into a long bike ride. The rural areas of Normandy sound like a place mom and I would enjoy. Parker your Bruins blew out Weber State in the first round of the tournament (Stanford lost). How's the Paris night life? Missing you,
Dad
So much to see in Paris. We tried to see the Louvre in a day, too. The sad part was missing the King Tut exibit that was down the way, since we couldn't read what was posted! Ignorance is not bliss, to coin a phrase. We especially enjoyed the Eifel tower at night. We visited the Military Cemetery outside of Luxembourg-Patten buried there. Love Granny & G.P. C
too bad there's no taco mesa in paris. we think about you guys a lot. the louvre is giant and overwhelming. what do you guys think of the glass pyramid?
peace out y'all

Like everyone else, I can't believe you two have been there a whole month! When Abner and I spent a month in Europe we didn;t want to come home! Hpw are you feeling about your trip being 1/3 over?
I'm glad you guys are having such a good time and seeing so many sights. I'm really enjoying your blog. Thanks again for posting the pics, stories and updates.
Seven hours in the Louvre? I'm so jealous but I'm not surprised. I think we spent almost that long in the Museo Del Prado. I love museums!
Hugs,
Kim
How fun. I love Paris and all the museums and gardens!
Glad you got to go to Mt. St. Michael. Remind me of the movie Mind Walk. The trip went by so fast.
Miss you.
Jym
I heard it takes a couple days to get through the Louvre. You shouldn't feel bad for not being able to take it all in in one day. I bet it was exciting though. I wish I could go with you guys and take a look myself.
