Hello everyone:
We have enjoyed Dublin today. Our main two sites were the Chester Beatty Library and the National Gallery. We give props to Dublin because they were both FREE! The library has awesome old religious texts dating as far back as B.C. and the National Gallery had at least one painting by some of our favorite artists. (Including a Modigliani which has been a rare find on this trip). This was our last art museum - we think in honor of the number of art museums we have visited we should get a course credit.
We had our first Irish Breakfast today. Unfortunately for vegetarians that does not include much, but any free hostel meal that is more than bread is a plus. Most of the time it is just non-toasted bread and jam.... since V loves bread (if you really know her well, you know this is not true) she practically does a cheer when cereal is included.
Tomorrow we are off to a wee town called Cashel, by bus. Then we will be in the Ring of Kerry for our three remaining days of the trip in Ireland
We also saw the doctor today to hopefully put an end to our sniffles and cough. We are on a strict diet of antibiotics.
Don't forget to comment if you haven't already...... be apart of our trip history and you also might make it into the trip scrapbook (which I imagine will be at least 100 pages since we have almost taken 2000 photos!!! --- see we did need all those memory cards).
Best,
V&P

T of the M,
As you round out your trip in the British Isles I thought you could use some method to accurately assess how road weary you've become. The phrase for consideration is:
The dragonfly has sprouted wings
If you immediately laugh or cry, although no conclusion comes to mind, convalescence may be in order.
If no image or occurance comes to mind - but you're convinced that the answer lies in the corridors of a museum - you need de-programming via heavy doses of reality TV.
If the phrase just makes you hungry you're in fair shape (although probably prone to mindlessly shuffling down narrow streets) and repairs await at Taco Mesa.
If you dismiss this entirely and write it off as an annoying attempt at humor you're holding up well, just not as well as you think.
If you realize exactly what the phrase implies and also share the dismissive notion above, you're tip-top and should sign up for a month in Turkey before you return.
Miss you two - the dad
Hi,
Hope you are feeling better by now. Poor V she must be starving by now, and it looks like no rest for the weary (at least for her). The final few days of your trip and then home, looks to be a whirlwind of activity. She will be exhausted before she starts her new job. P you better be taking good care of her!
See you soon, love and miss you.
Oh, Ireland! I must have pictures! I'll get there someday.
Looking forward to gabbing with you about Ire when you get home.
Hugs,
Kim:)
