Hello from Valencia!!
We visited L'Oceangrafic today (basically, it´s like a Sea World park combined with an aquarium...it was fun but a little overpriced). It is also Spain´s second most visited attraction, only the Prado museum in Madrid gets more visitors annually. The favorite creatures that we saw were the Beluga whales (not that anyone cares...but Beluga whales have green poop). The weather here is very warm, about 80 degrees. We are enjoying the Spanish Tapas and the Horchata (it is made differently than at home-with an ingredient called "chufa", which they say is special for this region). They also spell it differently here (Orxata). When we were in Paris we thought it was funny that no restaurants would serve dinner until after 7pm, but in Spain the places don´t open for dinner until 9m. Last night, we finished our dinner at 11pm and the restaurant was still packed with diners when we left. Every is just on a different clock here.
V has passed on her coughing illness to P. She tried to see a doctor today but was informed he only works on Fridays. She will miraculously heal herself tonight during her sleep. Even with the nagging coughs, we are not letting it ruin our fun.
Tomorrow we are off to Madrid to see their museums and hopefully eat many more tapas.
Bye for now,
V&P

Yes, the Spanish have their own time for everything.
Hope you get to see a doctor soon, maybe in Madrid. My cough took be 6 weeks to get rid of- annoying.
I'm looking forward to your blog from Madrid, as I didn't go there, just Valencia and Barcelona.
Take care, and please stop coughing.
Go to a Pharmacy and they can sell you drugs and recommend something for you. Poor baby! Abner got a hideous sore throat when we were there and his aunt just took him to a pharmacy. Do it!
Enjoy every inch of the Prado! I love Las Meninas and had to stand there and stare at it for a long time. :)
Long live Museo De Jamon! I miss 10 o'clock dinners!
Hugs,
Kim and ABner
PS... are you still there in Valencia?
Valenciano for buenas dias is "bon dia"... for buenas noches is "bon annit" (Uh-neet)... for beunas tardes is "bona vesprada."
Should have told you that earlier! The Velencianos are proud of their language.
Hugs,
Kim
