Florence - Locanda Starlight
Venice - Pensione Guerrato
We will finish booking lodgings Italy (Cinque Terre) and the French Riviera (Nice and Marseilles) before we go. Parker will finish the city guides and I've got to finish the train routes. 9 more days to get it all together. :)

We'll look for the name of our hotel in Nice. It was across the street from the cathedral of Notre Dame. Not across from the front entrance--not across the major street, but across a smaller street on the side of it. Like we mentioned, our balcony overlooked it. Lovely.
It was family owned and in 1999 it had been completely renovated. The rooms wer small, but very comfortable and the cost was only $35 per night.
I'm off to check my travel books to see if I can find the name of it...
