Second day in Athens -- Acropolis

Today we went to the Acropolis and to Lykavittos Hills (the highest points in the city). We went to the Acropolis first thing this morning and totally beat the crowds. Since we were the first people there we had about 30 minutes of Acropolis time just to ourselves. It was a surreal experience being able to see the Parthenon and other ancient sites without any other people around. Being there so early also allowed us to get some photos that would not have been possible when the place was more crowded later in the day. By the time we left, the site was totally packed. It is midnight in Greece now and we are gonna get some sleep. Here are some pics from today.
